Dewsbury Runners

We had a number of 'tourists' at parkrun this morning, that is folks visiting from other parkruns.  Amongst them was a large group of Dewsbury Runners.  I was marshalling at the big boulder where the runners turn sharply uphill and need plenty of encouragement to dig in to regain the top of the park.  These women were together on this first lap but gradually spread out over the taxing four lap course.

There is always lots of banter and goodwill at parkrun and it gets the weekend off on a positive note.
