Starling

Well after a lovely morning catching up with friend Helen on the sunny patio, socially distanced of course, the remainder of the day has been frustrating as I've had to stay in to await the arrival of the chimney sweep.  

I've pottered about the garden and the house but not really settled to anything very productive or in the way of exercise, grrr!  The birds were hesitant to come to the elder tree because one of the neighbourhood cats was sitting beneath it, so I emptied the dregs of my glass water on him and finally this starling settled for a bit.  No cats were harmed (just a bit dampened!) in the making of this blip!
