Bird Watching

Today I started the day off with an early bird walk with birding experts.  Though I've fed the birds for years, I never know one bird call from another so thought I'd try to learn a new way of identifying them.  The leaves are fully out so there wasn't much to see.  I still don't know how to identify them by sound, but the walk was really nice and on our way to meet up with the group, we did see an approximately 2 year old black bear crossing the road in front of us - he was moving pretty fast and I wasn't able to get a shot of him.  So, this would have to do.  Oh and by the way, guess who turned ONE today (in extras).  By the time we got to cupcakes, she was so tired and she had no interest at all in eating them! Maybe she'll feel differently tomorrow.
