Paradise for One

I did warn you not to get too excited about the mystery trip today:-)  It was a visit to Celtic Park in Glasgow for a tour of the club and lunch afterwards. One of us was certainly in Paradise and the other smiled bravely!

TJ has been a lifelong fan, as was his father before him, so this really was a thrill for him, especially being able to visit the Home Team changing room, the Boardroom with its multitude of trophies and the pitch itself with its unique mix of real and artificial grass.

It wasn't as bad as I had expected, as there were quite a few amusing stories about the trophies and the games and we did get to sit in the dugout and the Directors' Box, so saw the scene from different perspectives.

The meal in the large restaurant afterwards was delicious and worth the three hour round trip to get there.  The weather was fine too and really brightened up on the way home!
