Violas.....!

During one of our sporadic bursts of sunshine I took these two pictures of my violas in their pots...
The top one is doing really well and all of it’s own accord has developed this lovely ball shape..
But in the other pot the flowers seem to have been a tracked by something and are struggling....
Isn’t lots of gardening really ‘pot luck’....????
Disappointing weather for our bank holiday weekend although I suppose we can’t complain too badly ...warm and mostly dry all day but extremely windy...!!!
Lashing rain again tonight...
