Stepped out onto the porch early this morning and took a few steps down before seeing this interesting moth.  It was quite large and as we have many varieties here I did a quick Google research to discover this one was called the 'one-eyed Sphinx Moth'.  

Extra...this evenings cloudage provided a stunning back drop over the tips of our evergreen trees.
