Great Blue Heron

Today started out cloudy and cool but the sun came out by late morning giving me time to take a walk. One thing I look for at this time of year is the Great Blue Heron, I have seen him fly by several times and seen him on the other side of the lake but today he was on a water drain in the lake that I could get close to he stayed for about 5 mins allowing for several shots.
