Bottomless Prosecco

Very early night on Saturday as I was totally puffed out after my walk and woke early on Sunday to glorious sunshine. Just right for us to head into London to meet my cousin and her husband for brunch at Hixters near Borough Market.
Lovely restaurant in an old Metal box factory - light and airy and almost empty of other guests as many people had cancelled when the saw the weather. Unfortunate for the restaurant but fabulous for us as we had very attentive service and almost constant top ups for the bottomless Prosecco - in Scotland bottomless is limited to 3 or 4 drinks over a couple of hours but there seemed to be no limit for us!!
We then wandered into Bar Elbe near Waterloo 5 flights up with great views for a beer or two before catching the train.
The extras are if one of the many Napoleon quotes in the bar plus the wallpaper in Hixters - a little rude and hope I don’t offend anyone.
Main blip is the board at Abbey Wood - the words just spoke to me!
