The Eternal Flame

Under the Arc de Triomphe there is the eternal flame to those whose lives have been lost. Apparently it is relit every evening at 18:30.

In the 32oC heat we then had a gentle stroll down the rue du Faubourg St Honore, window shopping.

Found a lovely patisserie - see extra - for a refreshing stop and some wonderful macaroons!

Flying back tomorrow - so early start.
