Packaging

The furniture we ordered and which should have been delivered over 2 months ago finally arrived this morning. All socially-distance delivered at 07:40 am and helpfully carried to the back garden (but not indoors).

It took me over 2 hours to remove and tidy up all the packaging and check everything was OK. Which it was. Very carefully protected by cardboard, reinforced cardboard, light plastic covering, polystyrene and plastic wrap.

Despite its success at protecting the furniture, there must be a less environmentally way of packaging.

So glad it arrived this morning though and ahead of the downpour tonight. Quite how we would have managed if it had been raining this morning.

Following the blip the other day the dog thought there was a better chance of height with these boxes!
