When I got into the park at Sue o'clock the swan family were out on the water, there were four cygnets - they lost one on the second day. The light was not great so I took a couple of photos with my mobile phone. I went for my usual ride around the park to see what else was going on. When I came back the swans had moved up to the other end of the pond, there were three cygnets in the water. So I assumed the fourth was on Mum's back - wrong. Long story short, during the time I was away one cygnet disappeared. I have heard from others that there are only three now. What could have happened in that thirty minutes or so that I was away from the pond - so sad?
