Not looking good!

When you're heading to the coast for a holiday and this is the sky facing you, it's not good! Excuse the dirty windscreen.

Spent the best part of the day in the car as we headed south west to Cornwall. We live about the furthest point from any coast in the UK and sometimes just yearn to see and smell the sea.

We are here safely and had a little walk with the dogs to breath the fresh air. The tide was in and surf was up. The board with all the surf information described the surf as 'messy' which we thought very amusing. The sea temperature was 13degs C and the air 14 degs C.

Bit gutted to find the Sea Thrift was going over as I so wanted to capture this beautiful flower in full blossom. I love this little pink flower and have it in my garden, it always flowers perfectly. Oh well, there is always next year.
