An Uphill Struggle

Poor TJ will be exhausted tonight, as he has been out most of the afternoon cutting the meadow lawns.  As you can see, this part is on quite a steep slope and even with a petrol mower it's hard work.  

This morning he delivered our damaged car to the garage to be repaired at the culprit's expense and came home with the car they gave him for use in the meantime.  It was to have been an older,  manual runabout, but (fortunately!) that was needed elsewhere.  Instead, he was given a fairly new (19 plate) automatic BMW saloon!  The neighbours will think we've bought a new car:-) It's not as comfortable as ours, he tells me, though I haven't been in it yet.
