The Flower Lady

Thank you all for your lovely comments following my Blip yesterday.  Really appreciated.

Lots to do today, but the day started beautifully when I was able to go and see Wendy, the flower lady at church with all the flowers for the funeral.  Mom loved flowers, particularly when the church was full of them so today Wendy worked so hard on creating beauty in the church for Mom's funeral tomorrow.  She has also done an arrangement to go on the coffin for us.  The flowers arrived from Holland yesterday and Wendy has also included roses and greenery from my garden and Mom's garden.

Spent time at the Building Society sorting out Mom's accounts this morning - that took longer than anticipated.  All seems to be done now though.  That's good.  Visited Dad who wasn't too bad but he is having trouble remembering what is happening when.  Hardly surprising.  I have had to get him some more white handkerchiefs as he seems to have lost all of the ones he used to have.  I think he will need a few tomorrow...

I am hoping that everyone who is supposed to be doing something tomorrow will be able to do it.  Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers...
