TinyTuesday210 Not as expected.

Mr MC assured me that it would not rain today.  Fortunately I didn't entirely believe him and sent Violet to her before school childminder, with a mac folded up in her bag.  It was still fine when I returned and so I decided that I'd take a garden shot for TT, or possibly even drive out to Connaught Water....then the heavens opened and the rain began, continuing for most of the day.  Even when I took this shot it was still raining so it isn't the sharpest.  It's one of dozens of buds one of our clematis which is already smothered in open saucer sized flowers.
The garden and the local ponds desperately need this rain though and I don't think they'll be disappointed for the rest of this week.
