Christmas Eve!
Night falls around 4:30 these days which, depressing as it is, means all the decorations light up nice and early! My mom, grandma and grandad went out in the city with the dog to see the lights (sister was feeling a bit ill).
I'm getting used to Brussels, its quite a lively city, although its got nothing on Paris. Still its very pleasant and there's stuff to do and places to go. Everything is also a lot cheaper! ?2 for mulled wine vs ?5 in Paris.
Ooooo, 75cl bottles of martini for ?4.50 at the supermarket, damn!
Anyways, came back for an awesome dinner prepared by Ambre. I had foie gras for the first time in 2 years, since I spent all of christmas day sick from a fateful overdose of foie gras dark chocolate macaroons (yes that's right) and champagne.
Speaking of champagne, my mom found two crates of champagne in the basement during the move (sounds pretty stereotypical french right?). They've been popping all christmas break weyy! And that's the photo for today, from a delicious Christmas Eve meal.
peace
