The Old Olive

The weather has returned to normal, so Mrs BB decided we were going to do walk 7 of 'Walking & Trekking Corfu' (Cicerone Publishers) which was Agios Stefanos to Arillas.  Most of it was stunning cliff top views (see extra with table overlooking Craggy Island) and the highlight was a small white painted chapel (see extra) with room containing religious icons and candles inside, and stone painted tributes around it and peoples ashes. One was painted with Newcastle United FC club badge and 'Alan Bell 1945-2009 - lived his dream for 5 years.'

The other extra is of the bench on the concrete pier at Arillas Beach looking towards Craggy Island. The whole feel of the place was that of one that had seen it's best in the 1970's!

I've chosen my main for the Wide Wednesday Challenge on the theme of 'history/historical' as it's an extremely old Olive Tree with two old derelict trucks. One Old in nature and the other old man made. It makes you wonder on their history.
