Trail Boats.
When ever possible we wait until the day after a show before taking the awning (formally a marquee) down. The night before we dismantle the displays and then relax. This makes for a much less stressful end to the show.
This attitude means there is no rush when we wake up, so after breakfast Clickychick and I had a walk up to the canal. Literally up to the canal as the show field is several feet below the canal.
The blip shows the assembled trail boats, still decked out with bunting and fairy lights from their festival display last night. The blue and white boat at angles to the bank isn't badly moored! It is a Caraboat (no longer in production) it can be towed like a caravan and then rolled straight into the water. If you look closely just out from the bank you can see the wheel arch. It is the fact there are still wheels on which prevents it getting parallel to the bank.
P.s. The shot is taken from a convenient canal bridge.
