Life goes on

Second day of Polly’s new life and we went for a late afternoon walk at the park with Selina and Indy. She really seemed to enjoy herself. Prior to that, however, while I was in Winchester for a meeting and gone for five hours, Mr DA reports that she spent pretty much the whole time lying on the bottom stair, watching the front door. As I type she is settling down on her bed in the living room, having had her dinner and a bath. I get the sense she’s starting to adjust, but it’s early days for us all...
