Events

A busy day. Our new offices were formally opened today by Maree Todd MSP, the Minister for Children and Young People. We had a welcome representation of our partners, volunteers and some lived experienced young people with whom we collaborate. The blip is of the Minister and Jeanette. I’ve still to work out who tweets more. Whatever the answer we are grateful to the Scottish Government for supporting our move and providing us with a location and facilities which enable us to engage better with our volunteers and partners.

We also had the announcement of my successor in October. Our Chair, Garry Coutts, announced that Elliot Jackson, my Depute, has succeeded in the appointment process ( which had also included young people). I’m delighted that Elliot will take CHS forward and lead the changes we see need to happen.
