Tyne Bridge

A full day in Newcastle Upon Tyne.  We managed to get out reasonably early and walked into the main part of town via the Quayside.  Lovely old buildings and wide streets.

A spot of shopping and then lunch at the Laing Art Gallery - all very pleasant.

Quite warm and a little sunshine.  Rain from the south promised later.
