Battle of the Birds

Just when we thought we'd won the battle of the bird feeders, having wired then to the pole, along came another problem.  The lovely groups of lupins close by were being flattened by the larger birds as they fought over the dropped seeds!

So the feeders have had to be moved yet again further down the garden (see Extra), which means I can't see them at all except from the decking.  If the weather brightens up, we may be able to have our breakfast outside some days, so I'll get a chance to watch the birds:-)

Our car was returned today and the borrowed car taken back.  Excellent job on the repairs, so TJ is very happy.
