Swan in reverse

So folks, after the arguable triumph of my recent photograph of a bee, normal wildlife photography service is resumed today with this very average photo of two swans.

Amusingly, the nearer swan was simply floating along with the current, but back to front, enjoying the rear view of the Kent as it headed towards the open sea*. With hindsight, it was probably not the best event to attempt to capture through the medium of still photography.

*This, as far as it goes, is artistic licence. The sea is miles away and the swan will have become bored long before getting anywhere even close to the river's salty terminus. Well, I expect it would; I am no expert on swans.
