Lamb Meatball Curry with Aubergine

Today's the day ………………………. for a recipe

Our meal tonight is all thanks to my friend Jane.

She was the one that brought these two dishes to the house - Madhur Jaffrey's Lamb Meatball Curry  and the Lake Palace Hotel's Aubergine cooked in the pickling style -  as part of one of our 'Ladies who dine' evenings.  Needless to say, they were mouth-wateringly delicious and I asked her for the recipes.  She obliged - and tonight I tried them for the first time.

So this blip's for you, Jane.  Thanks for the recipes - it's so great to have friends who are good cooks ……………………!
