A very, very wet day
There were very brief spells of damp weather between, drizzle, rain, heavy ran and very heavy rain. As the day progressed, the mud increased!
The weather meant that very few day visitors showed up. They missed a treat. The children’s games were all under cover. The dogs doing the agility course did not mind, nor did the sheepdogs demonstrating their skills.
The humans kept their spirits up. When the workshops were on, it was noticeable that the majority opted for singing with Mandy Prior in the comfort of Stones Barn!
While the afternoon concert was on, I was on the field photographing welly throwing, giant jenga, milk the (cardboard) cow, horizontal bungee, tug of war and more.
Then the tractors did a run around the district. I was at Bewcastle to capture the event..
The evening concert was brilliant but I faded at 1030 and came back to bed.
I was too tired to Blip then.
PS the toilets at festivals always provide a challenge for organisers. None more than today when Maggie dropped her purse down the loo. See extra!
