Poole Boat Show

Typical, my favourite image from the boat show is an accidental one (with enhancements)! I enclose a couple of extras from yesterday afternoon and one of the wonderful Miramar’s flower beds from today

Sunny day, weather alternated between sun, wind, rain. But was more settled by the time we’d got to the show just after 2:30 (had to shelter for about 10 minutes from the rain which made us late). Sadly missed the water dog rescue displays.

No, we didn’t buy a Sunseeker (yacht). But met some handsome Newfoundlands and Chien de Leon (water rescue dogs). Asking about how long the Newfoundland is live, was surprised to hear that 5 is a critical age for them, but once they’ve got beyond 5 they can live till nine 10,11. There was one that was even 13 years old.

Ended up with a GIggi vegan icecream (in a vegan cone) salted caramel and fruit of the forest sorbet. And yes you guessed it, an Aspall at the hotel Du Vin.

Going to the club watch the tennis and read the papers. Mr B has a game arranged.
