Grow-your-own Castle

Mrs B and I spent an hour or so on Blackpool Sands this morning. Had a paddle, but still a little too cold to swim. (At least, there were some people swimming, but they were young and foolish brave!)

The shingle beaches around our part of Devon's South Hams aren't the sort where you can build sand-castles. However, as the former Miss PP is growing her own castle, I had fun decorating it with shells and pebbles. The castle resident didn't seem to mind!

By this time next year a new pair of tiny toes might be dangled in the sea ...!
