Meet the Family

We were very pleased to see these Goldfinches who came 'en famille' to the  niger feeder. There were three fledglings but one seemed happy to flit about and perch on the clothes line on by himself. The adults are having a good feed while the small ones looked down from further up the feeder. Eventually when the adults were full, they gathered up the fledglings and flew off elsewhere. My photo was taken through the window so a lot of 'dehaze' has been used in post processing to get the contrast back and some sharpening too.

It's been another 'April shower' day with some lovely sunshine then heavy showers with some hail mixed in it.
