Tynemouth

A 15 mile walk along the North of the Tyne. After about 4 miles two lads asked me how long I’d been walking for. I said “about 90 minutes.” They said “we thought you’d say about 5 days.” Now either I looked really knackered or they thought I was doing the Hadrian’s Wall walk, which ends at Wallsend. The Romans had to finish their wall here as the name is so apt.

Taking the Metro back to the hotel, where I may or may not process the 200 photographs taken today, experimenting with my polarising filter. The alternative will be rehydration and a snooze before dinner. Tough choice.

PS - processing (ie mostly deleting) done whilst rehydrating. Who says I can't multi-task? Surviving images include:

Near starting point in Gateshead;
Doing it the easy way;
First lighthouse of the day;
beach, overlooked by stern-looking buildings;
Arty shot.
