Sossusvlei....

headed into the park today - tremendously windy so the first hour was a bit of a nightmare with sand flying everywhere!  Only one of us attempted to climb the big daddy dune and he had to turn back for fear of being blown off the side!  However, we went to Deadvlei struggling through the sand and once we got there it paid off!  Amazing colours with the wind blowing through the sand.  I did get the typical sand dune pictures from Nambia but I chose these images as a little different from the norm!

Fantastic day ending with climbing down into Sesriem canyon and then going back to our camp for a sundowner!
