Ice Cream Sunday

Kate & Sophie came over this morning to join us and Chris for a swim in the outdoor pool followed by a Sunday roast lunch. Our friends Tony & Rosie were there with one of their 3 sons, his wife and two children; makes you wonder how quickly the years have gone since we used to meet up there when our kids were the age the grandchildren are now.

After lunch Chris & I watched the England v Switzerland Nations League game while Sophie helped, or should I say hindered, Mummy & Grandma putting this ice cream parlour kit together (it's the Lidl version of Lego).

When the kids had gone home, we had a quick stroll before getting back for the second half of the England Women's opening World Cup game. Nice to see both teams winning.
