Monarch of the Glen

We came up to inverness to look after my mother-in-law this weekend so my brother-in-law could go away for a few days. Her mobility is quite limited now so she doesn't manage to get out much these days. We used to always go to Simpsons garden centre together so I decided we would try and make it there. After a bit of persuading to use one of their wheelchairs we enjoyed browsing and choosing some bedding plants for the garden. The weather has been better than forecast so in between dodging the occasional shower I have planted up some pots and done a huge amount of weeding.

My mother-in-law was very taken with this huge stag, we always say that she was into them before they became 'trendy'.
