In the Shadows

This has been my week for seeing babies!  Thank you for liking the fawn...I was so thrilled to see them.  Definitely a highlight of my spring!

I arrived home early this morning so had plenty of time to run any errands before skyping for a bit.  Then headed out with my daughter for a little bit.  Walking through the woods, I could have easily walked past these sweet little goslings who were enjoying the shade and dappled sunshine (or so it seemed).  The parents were busy pecking away at the ground but the little ones were content to just lie in the dirt and doze.  Sweet.
