Just an Empty Shell.

My host alerted me to this cicada husk today as a possible candidate for a blip. I agreed its lovely.

It's great when others start to help you find blip material ;)

The millions of cicadas on Xmas day at the Daisy Hill Nature Reserve were quite amazing. Their sounds swept continuously around the valley in a swirl of cicada symphony, hard to describe, but really marvellous and very loud!

We have had another quiet day, very relaxing. I feel that I have finally unwound from a busy year and feel rested and peaceful.

There is hardly any sign of the almost empty shell that I had become ;o)
