That Time Again!

Yes it's the Scarecrows in Gunnislake again! Easy to tell the theme this year! There was the Wicked Witch of The East outside the Butchers, The Wizard of Oz in a garden, A stormtrooper by the garage, and of course Postman Pat in the Post Office! I had to chuckle at the extra - twice in the last year  cars have damaged the ancient Gunnislake bridge, it means there is no access to Devon and the long route round has to be taken!  I bumped into  The Seamstress from Make Do And Mend in the Dr's and asked why Calstock never took part, there are certainly loads of creative people living here! Maybe because you don't drive through the village, or it's seen as too whimsical? We decided to try and get the village interested for next year!
