Ballet

Although trees are static and most often vertically straight, this example strikes a dynamic pose that reminds me of a dance move which I'm sure has a name, but it's not something I'm familiar with. The one I'm thinking of has one bent knee and a trailing leg.

In any case, this one was once a stable part of the hedgerow, but outgrew its position and had to go, leaving behind a sculpture that an artist would have trouble devising. Isn't nature wonderful.
