CUCKOO SPIT

I know we're supposed to report sightings of cuckoo spit and froghoppers now so that the powers-that-be can help prevent Xylella spreading to the UK and ravaging plants over here, but there's always so much of it about at this time of year, and the last time I looked the survey form asked for each and every example to be notified. I'll check again tomorrow to see whether the notification form has been simplified.

This is just one of many examples in my tiny back yard.
