Seawords
Four nights at our first stop off in Northumberland, thoroughly enjoyable. Our hosts made us feel very much at home. We'll come back.
But time today to move on, as the second part of our trip takes us to a farm close to Alnmouth. So we head northwards. We are making full use of our National Trust membership, stopping off at Wallington Hall to look at the walled garden, and then Cragside to look at the house and its environs. Both really good.
The blip is of a view from the roadside as we travelled. One of the things we like about Northumberland are the extensive vistas and big skies. It is a beautiful county.
