Heart and Souled

I read the manual

...for my camera a little on Christmas Day. Sad, but true! I'd been trying to get to the bottom of manual focus and the flash.
This is the first blip I've done using 'intelligent auto' on some hand held night shot mode; the colour came out a ton better than with the manual settings. Who knew?!

One of our paths has turned in to a benevolent stream (i.e. it's not flooding anyone). We legged our way along it today to avoid a man with two Great Danes. When we first got the dog and we'd be out walking, if I revealed her newness to us, I'd find myself on the receiving end of all sorts of advice. Un- invited. This man had had an awful lot to say. On that first encounter when I saw his two huge dogs approaching mine from either side, my heart was in my mouth. Then my dog took off with the smooth prowess of David Beckham in his Olympic Speedboat (I loved that bit) while his two looked like supertankers. I wanted to blip her today, but the shot was out of focus. Auto, not manual, I just had the settings all wrong as I stood in the stream :-)
This is a view from our backdoor instead.
We're sorted for the weekend, a mate's going to come in and take her out. I'd done the same for him when his foot was operated on. Phew.
