Christmas Eve

A day spent mostly wrapping presents. Why does it take so much longer to wrap the presents than it does to unwrap them.

The highlight of the day was Christmas Evening dinner at Malmaison. The bar was not too busy when we arrived in the early evening, but the restaurant was full. I had booked a couple of months ago so that was not a problem. When we returned to the bar after dinner the bar was much busier. However as the restaurant was still full I think this must have been people just coming in for a drink. I think we left about 11:00 pm, I suspect it was going to be a long evening for the staff.
