A Short Cut

A former work colleague of Stephanie's came over to our house today. Paul is a hairdresser and came over to do Steph's hair, and also give me, and Steph's parents a trim up.

Paul is a former blipper, and studied photography at University, so I am sure he was not surprised when I got my camera and flash out, Steph wasn't impressed.

So this was a bit of a play with the flash. I was combining the new flash with the pop up flash. I found that bouncing it off the ceiling worked very well to reduce the harsher shadows. I know this is straightforward stuff for those of you who own flashes, but its a bit of a learning procedure at the moment for me.
