Oliver By The Fire
A quiet day today here. Oliver slept until 7.10 this morning, and you really don't know how good that feels! He has been on an eating day today, nothing has been safe.
A quick pop to town to go to a DIY shop so I can fix a few bits around the house, and then on to help Steph. She was working today at a local country house. They do shooting parties (shotguns and birds, not cameras and models) and she works for a lady that feeds the beaters. She was on her own this afternoon so we went along to help with the washing up, 58 people ate so there was a bit.
I had hoped to get a picture up at the very impressive house (the beaters are fed in the cricket pavilion. You know you are 'comfortable' when you have your own pavilion), but there wasn't anything obvious to blip, and there is fairly hefty security up there too.
When we got home Steph lit the fire in the front room, and I thought I could have a play with the flash...again... Oliver was a reluctant model. It was either this one, or a picture of him with his Hess helicopter which was a hit this Christmas. Another off ceiling bounce to reduce the shadow onto the wall / fireplace. Made for some shadow under his eyes, but otherwise it seems ok. Critique appreciated.
