Tea for three at two

Spent the morning doing some PR work for my clients.

The Christmas break has always been a classic time to sell stories to the press as it is generally quiet on the national newspaper news desks. Plus a lot of PR agencies are shut so there is less competition.

In the past, I've had some great successes with client's stories over this in between week, so I had a couple of stories on standby ready - both for lingerie brands - one involving a Made in Chelsea star and a hot air balloon (classy) and the other about looking your best on New Year's Eve with the right undergarments and model poses in your party pics. The Sun liked the first one but said the accompanying video was too short but the Daily Mail loved the perfect party pose one so am hopeful for that making an appearance tomorrow. Just hope my client's brand gets a namecheck otherwise it will have all been for nothing!

With work out of the way, we all headed into town as I had an afternoon tea booked with my three sisters (a kind gift from my younger sister at her wedding earlier this year). It was probably bad timing in retrospect as we had all drunk and eaten far too much over the past few days but it was still lovely to see them. We mainly spoke about Audrey and having guessed that would be the case, I'd arranged for my husband to drop in with her whilst we were there. Audrey was on top form, seeming quite at home and very at ease on both Aunties' laps.

From the other side of the table, my husband and I watched her proudly as she giggled and smiled, basking in their attention. She really is so beautiful.
