Common Spotted-orchid

Bank Holiday Monday was spent finishing the woodland quadrats at Shenley Wood with Alex - no restful days off for ecologists if the weather's fine! We worked very efficiently and luckily managed to avoid the showers. The first Common Spotted-orchids were just coming into flower along the ride edges.
