Historic Spon Street

In Spon Street, Coventry there is a high concentration of Tudor aged buildings. Many of them are not original to the street and have been rebuilt there after being saved from demolition in other streets. Following the relocation of historic buildings to Spon Street from elsewhere in Coventry, the area was designated a Conservation Area by Coventry City Council in 1969
