Elizabeth Castle

Accessible by a causeway for about eight hours a day then by amphibian vehicle. The original parts of the castle date back to 1590, thus it’s name, and add ons throughout the centuries. Spent four and a half hours there. First extra shows a plaque about the Elizabeth Gate, the second the gate itself, third extra the causeway out to the castle and fourth the Governor’s house, once occupied by Sir Walter Raleigh.
