Jersey War Tunnels

Dreadful weather today. A good day to be underground. It wasn’t raining when we started out so we thought we would walk there. It soon started to rain quite heavily - gave up and caught the bus for a couple of stops. This complex of tunnels was excavated during WW2 by the occupying Germans. They used forced labour to do the hard work. Interesting to hear about life here under occupation. Not much choice of blips today.
