More rain oop north...

...but whatever the weather I always feel at home by the sea!
Pottered out to Square Roots for lunch - the vegan café on the station at Tynemouth. We aren't vegan, but the couple who run it are so lovely we always go back! Stocked up on nuts etc at Buy the Kilo - you take your own containers and fill them as you wish. They do spices, oils, nuts, soaps etc - and were ahead of the game before Waitrose muscled in! Put the world to rights re the Tory leadership race and the state of the nation generally while we were there ;)
The rain cleared a bit this aft and we actually saw some sun - so we had a look out to Royal Quays and the Marina. My blip today shows the reflections of the lock in the glass bricks of one of the marina buildings.
