Confused

I bought a dahlia during my last trip to the UK. Actually, I bought 2. One with pink/red blooms, the other with yellow. I wanted the contrast. I love the ones with rich dark, almost black leaves and vibrant colour flowers. Well, they have started to flower. However, not as expected. The one I particularly liked in the garden centre was the one with yellow flowers. Bishop of York looked so good in the picture. The flowers are cerise. Either the plant is confused, or the labelling was wrong. Frustrating, as there were a number of the Bishop of York and I might have simply been unlucky in picking this one up. Mrs SoL has planted them, but I will be having a word with the garden centre. I’m not due back in the UK for a while now, so it remains to be seen what the outcome will be.
