Blowing out the Candles

Miss E was too tired last night to do the cake so we did it tonight instead. As usual there were a few attempts and thousands of photos taken, and as usual it was fun. And the cake was tasty!!
This afternoon Mr K took the Little Misses to Hobbycraft to spend yet more birthday vouchers and while they were there they popped into Go Outdoors for a replacement gas bottle. And they managed to come out with just a gas bottle, whoop whoop!!!
I walked over eight miles today. Down into town, round the park, round town, back through the park and back up the hill to home.
Then I came home to a well deserved bath.
And then lots of yummy chocolate cake!!
Miss E wanted to sleep in Marshall tonight as a last birthday treat. She took all her school things out ready for the morning so she could get completely ready in him and feel like she properly camped!!
Miss L sweetly stayed in the house as she didn't want me to be on my own. Bless her!
